Prayer Tonight

The day had passed again and not all good expectations have been met. There are outstanding things that were not completed and some disappointment just came before the day was over. Life is not always in the happy side as most of us expected and sometimes relying on ourselves is not the best of it. We don't always succeed in everyday life. There will be times when we would feel a failure. Should we be bothered by the circumstances that we face in life? No we don't.
My prayer:
I thank you God for the life I have today and the things that had happened to me. Some of them are not as good as I expected them but I thank you because all the things I need to complete the day I have received. It might not be the best for some and not approving to many but you, Lord know it all. I thank you for accepting me, my weakness and my strength, my failure and success. In everything I end up my day giving thanks to you my almighty God.
I will lay may head in bed to rest and assured of your peace to cover my whole night of sleep. Full of you protection and love, I will sleep like a child with heavenly dreams to comfort me. Your eyes, Oh Lord, let it be always watchful of me. Tomorrow I rest them all to you until that day I opened my eyes again to awake. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

Living Hope

Just want to share this verses that will keep our hope stronger to God.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?...No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 8:35-39

"Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord." Psalm 31:24

When we feel giving up and just being discourage because of our situation and circumstances just pray and confess this words from the Bible and the Spirit of God will lift our low spirit high because his help is already at hand.

Hard Times

Dear Lord, today i thank you for giving me another day to live. I thank you for the blessing of life and for all supplications with it that i may be able to live for the day. My mind is quite troubled by the circumstances and the pressure i experience in my work life. I feel like work is my second home because most of my time are spent there a lot. I think that there is no permanent work and that expectations are mostly not meet in the field of circular work. I don't understand myself why most often i think negatively when I know that you Oh Lord can handle all my stress and anxiety in life for you have said in your word that "Come to me all you are heavy laden and i will give you rest". I trust you with my life, teach me Lord to execute that trust in my daily work life.
I feel like this coming weeks will be my hard times in work. I just pray that your word Oh Lord shall be my strength and hope that i may be victorious in all the works of my hand. I wanted to meet the expectations of my superiors but the limited ability i have makes me feel frustrated because i'm afraid of facing failures in life. I have faced a lot of failures but you Oh Lord Jesus have always manifest your miracle in your perfect time in me. Just like what i always do Lord in surrendering my fears to you that i may always face whatever outcome of my work.
I know that you Oh Lord shall be with me always for you have no desire in putting your name in vain. Thank you Lord...In my hardest times I will remember your word and like an eagle i will soar high for you shall be my wings..
Amen.

Continuing the Faith even away from Home

After so many years of not being here in this blog site...sa wakas i have the time to update this..hehehe..Seriously because this is my spiritual side..I thank God even if i'm away from home He has provided a church for me here in Malaysia where i feel closer to home.

I'm attending RLC (Renewal Lutheran Church) if you want to know about the chruch you can check their website its: http://www.oasisofcare.org/. The culture of worship are not very far from my home church in the Philippines except that the're bigger than the chruch i go in Manila (even the building itself) and also the people since Malaysia is a multirace country.

I'm also part of a caregroup of RLC under Corrine (my caregroup leader) and Pastor Patrick(my zone pastor).

Shepherd of my soul

Psalm 23 (ESV)

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restore my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
i will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

"My wordings"
God has been gracious to me through his son Jesus Christ. For the past years of my life and even upto now his protection are ever present in my life and my family.
He has given us good health, enough resources to sustain our daily living, keep us safe from danger against natural calamity, people with evil intentions, and grave accidents.
I praise him not only for myself and my family but for my friends and the people i knew. He extended his mercy and grace as well to them also for everytime i hear good news from them I know God is answering my prayer for them.

I pray and hope to keep this faith alive until the time He calls me to be with him in eternity.

So while i'm here in this world my His Holy Spirit strengthens me and guide me to lead in Christ righteousness.

To all my friends and family who may accidentally or incidentally read this blog i'm pouring out part of my heart in this section on how i relate with my faith in Christ though i sounds not the same as you know me but God knows me well better than myself so i know you also now what i mean....

Writing about my home chruch

Jesus First Christian Ministry is the name of my church. I started attending way back 1990 and I accepted Jesus 1991 and became part of the JFCM family. Our main church is located at Mandaluyong City and now i belong to one of our outreach church in Pasay City. Ever since I've been part of this christian family I became more closer to God. My spiritual life have its up and down in fact many times i missed going sunday services but because God implanted his love in my heart i keep coming back to him.
The life of most brethren of our chruch is an encouragement for the lost to go back to God.
So I praise Jesus for bringing me to JFCM family.
